Find Amperity's login configuration:
Determine if the Amperity instance is configured to use SSO or username/password logins.
Note: Only users with the "Allow user administration" policy will be able to see these settings. If you do not have this policy and need to modify user accounts please reach out to your organization's Amperity administrator for these permissions.
Navigate to the "Settings" page and select the "SSO Group Mapping" tab
If you see that "No SSO group mappings have been added" then it is likely that this tenant uses a username/password login and login information can be managed from within Amperity.
If you see a list of one or more SSO group mappings then it is likely that this tenant uses an external IdP for login management. More information about how to use an IdP with Amperity can be found here: https://docs.amperity.com/reference/sso.html
Adding a user to Amperity:
Navigate to the "Settings" page and select the "Users" tab.
Click "Add user" and in the popup dialog fill out the user's information
If the email provided for the user is not from one of the allowed domains please click "Request new domain" to open a support ticket for adding a supported email domain
Select "Send the user a welcome email" if you would like them to receive an email at the provided address containing information on how to log into Amperity.
Next select a policy and optionally a resource group for the user. More information about polices can be found here: https://docs.amperity.com/reference/policies.html and more information about resource groups can be found here: https://docs.amperity.com/reference/settings.html#settings-security-resource-groups
Finally, click "Add user" to add this user to Amperity.
