Resolving Access Issues

Problem:

"Oops, something's not right" error when trying to log into Amperity

 

Solution:

Log out of Amperity and log in

Navigate to https://login.amperity.com/info. At the top of this page you will see a section that looks like this: 

Select "Logout"

Select "Login" or navigate to https://login.amperity.com/

You will see a login form that looks like this:

Enter your email address into the first field

If your login is through an SSO provider you will only need to enter an email address and will be automatically redirected to the SSO provider by clicking "Log In"

If your login uses a username and password combination you will need to enter both before clicking "Log In"

 

Logging into Amperity using an Incognito session

Using Google Chrome an incognito session can be started by selecting File -> New Incognito Window.

Navigate to https://login.amperity.com/. You will see a login form that looks like this:

If your login is through an SSO provider you will only need to enter an email address and will be automatically redirected to the SSO provider by clicking "Log In"

If your login uses a username and password combination you will need to enter both before clicking "Log In"

If you are now able to log into Amperity it is likely an issue with your browser configuration. Following these steps to clear your browser cookies can reset the Amperity login state. 

  1. Close the incognito browser window
  2. Navigate to chrome://settings/ in your normal browser window
  3. In the left hand menu select "Privacy and Security"
  4. Click on "Delete Browsing Data" on the menu in the middle of the screen
  5. Make sure that the following fields In the "Delete browsing data" menu are set
    1. "Time range" field is set to "All time"
    2. "Cookies and other site data" is selected
  6. Click "Delete data"
    1. Note: this will log you out of most sites.

Navigate to https://login.amperity.com/ and follow the login process
